Foreign residents learn Maltese, English in EU-funded project
A group of foreign adults and children resident in Malta have been taught Maltese, English as well as waste separation at source after attending classes organised by the Sliema local council in cooperation with St Clare College and the National Literacy Agency.
The €30, 000 co-financed EU educational project tapped into the EU’s Asylum Migration Integration Fund programme. It was the first time the council benefitted from such an EU-funded project.
